What started out as an attempt to create a tool which would help people, AI has become a villain in our lives, posing a major threat to human existence. It has become an existential threat to humans overall. The likes of which we are only now beginning to understand.

It would be difficult to have a serious or substantive conversation about Artificial Intelligence without touching upon some basic human characteristics or even flaws, which the various AI companies are looking to exploit.  It is time that we take a serious look at who and what we really are as humans, for ourselves, to better understand how or why various AI companies will look to exploit us.

Most things having to do with computers, AI systems and large networks, all share one problem. They consume a tremendous amount of energy. Even those who are actively engaged in “Bitcoin mining” will confess that the single biggest ongoing expense is to deal with is the cost of energy.
